Science
We started out the year with Mr. Feuerbach and had a class switch to Mrs. Southgate, due to Mr. Lobdell's passing. We have had many exciting times in both classes. My favorite time is when we either watch "educational" movies, or when we do hands on lab activites. We have done multiple areas including Wind and Weather, the water cycle, and now we are on to Milkweed bugs. A selected group in my grade is also taking an additional science class taught by Mrs. Southgate, Oceanography.
Milkweed Bugs
We are studying these little critters right now in science. We have built their habitats and have been observing them for about 3 days. The picture to the right is of habitat number 2. Each habitat contains two milkweed bugs. One male and one female. They also contain twigs, food bags, cotton bedding, and a watering device.
